Venue

The Spring School will be held on the campus of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in the direct neighbourhood of Lyon. This campus is located at the following address:

36 avenue Guy de Collongue, 69130 Ecully, France

Travel

 Lyon benefits from

• an international airport (Lyon Saint Exupéry) with direct flights to major cities in France and Europe
  
• two major railway stations (Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache) with direct TGV connections to the majors cities in France
  

A tramway connects the airport to the railway station of Lyon Part-Dieu in 30 minutes.

From the railway stations Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache, the campus of the "Ecole Centrale" can be reached by public transportation. The corresponding bus stop is "Campus Lyon Ouest".

From Lyon Part-Dieu, a metro journey via lines B and D will bring you to station ''Gorge de Loup'' (metro map). From ''Gorge de Loup'', bus line 3 (direction Dardilly le Jubin or Limonest le Puy d'Or) will bring you to the stop ''Campus Lyon Ouest".

From Lyon Perrache, bus line 55 will bring you directly to the stop "Campus Lyon Ouest" (end stop of bus line 55).

_{Accommodation}

If they desire so, participants can be lodged from April 1 to April 5 (in the morning) at the Residence Paul Comparat on the campus of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.

Keys can be collected at the Residence (building X, room 001) from 12:30 till 14:00 on Monday 1 April. A map of the Ecole Centrale campus is available here.

For the participants living in France, a cheque of 500 euros will have to be given as a guarantee deposit at that moment.  Alternatively, the participants who do not live in France will have to sign a document authorizing the automatic withdrawal of an amount of (up to) 500 euros from their credit card and provide a copy of their passport and a copy of both sides of their credit card. Note that the cheque will only be cashed or the withdrawal will only be done in case of necessity (damage, loss of keys, ...).

Keys can be returned at the Residence (building X, room 001) from 9:00 till 10:00 on Friday 5 April.

Linen will be provided in the bedroom but towels and breakfast are not included. A kitchenette, a micro-wave oven and a small fridge are available at each floor of the building. More information on the rooms can be found at this link.
